Is 'FIT' Better Than 'FAT'?

There seems to be no end in sight for studies going back and forth between the concept of “You can be fat and fit” and “If you’re fat, you aren’t fit.” Confused? Yeah, we were too. Until, that is, we got back to the roots of healthy living.

It is a fact that being overweight increases your risk of a number of diseases, including heart disease, diabetes and possibly some cancers. It is also a fact that excessive body fat can decrease your quality of life, making it difficult to take a flight, go to the movies or even get in and out of your vehicle. Aiming for a healthy body weight, through balanced eating and daily exercise, will always top our list of what’s healthy.
