Are Bolder Cheeses Better for You?

Though some think that full-fat cheeses contain more nutrients than their low- or nonfat counterparts, that's really not the case, says health editor at large Madelyn Fernstrom. Both types of cheese contain calcium and vitamin D—and the lower-fat variety doesn't have the same unhealthy saturated fat of the fattier versions, making it the better choice.
