Calling up our 12 Legions of Angels:
When Jesus was in trouble, right before he got arrested, Peter sliced off the ear of a soldier who getting ready to arrest Jesus, Jesus said in Matthew 26:53 “Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than 12 legions of Angels.” Even though Jesus didn’t call upon those Angels, we see that He could have. Jesus had to go the Cross so that we could call upon our Angels, our 12 (72,000 Angels) Legions of Angels. (A Legion consisted of around 6,000 thousands soldiers) [12x6000=72,000] There are many references in the Bible that Angels are there to help us, they bring us messages from God, they protect us and fight our battles, they minister to us and they take OUR Prayers to God. There are many instances in the Old and New Testament where the Angels came to deliver us or pass judgment by God’s commands. Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, Sodom and Gomorrah etc. Often times we rebuke, bind and loose spirits or demons, it is the Angels that come and hold down the enemy or fight to have people released or “loosed” from demonic activity. God is waiting for us in our time of trouble to call upon God to send his Angels whether it be us, the church or our city to call upon Jesus to send our Army to destroy the Enemy. Whether it be for spiritual warfare, healing, ministering or encouragement. The Angels are innumerable and there are plenty to go around, if anything they are Angels waiting for you to declare the Word of God to bring them forth to help fight our battles. They want to fight. Imagine 72,000 more Angels to come to your rescue, to deliver prayers and bind the enemy and force the enemy to loose the children of God in your life and in the life of your church.
