The Shocking Truth About Ketchup

If you're like most people, you probably squirt ketchup on lots of your meals without thinking. After all, it makes everything from veggie burgers to sweet potato fries (baked, of course!) taste better—and how bad can it be?

Turns out ketchup could be worse for you than you think. Most ketchup contains high-fructose corn syrup, which has about 4 grams of sugar per tablespoon. And since you probably use multiple squirts on your food, that sugar can add up fast.

Instead, try using mustard, which has almost no calories and still gives your food a great flavor boost!
