Should Soda Be a Dessert?

Are you a soda-holic? Do you find it hard to get through the day without enjoying at least one can of Coke, Pepsi, Sprite or other sweet carbonated beverage?

The problem is that sodas are basically all sugar and high in calories, and have no nutritional value. If you must have a soda, consider it a dessert—and skip any other dessert in favor of the soda.

Though diet sodas are a less caloric option, they're still not very healthy. If you're craving something sweet and bubbly, try mixing 2/3 mineral water and 1/3 juice for a carbonated beverage with a little kick.
