Stress Reduction

One of the things we all have to battle at various times in our life is stress. Even though stress can have a positive effect on some people in certain situations, in most cases, it’s the enemy of our bodies and mental health. If gone unchecked, stress can deplete your emotional batteries and weaken your immune system. The key to learning how to live with this common human companion is to identify what stresses you most and then mindfully go about minimizing that factor in your life.

Think about what causes you regular stress in your life. First, name the top three things that create the greatest amount of stress. Next, choose one of them to focus on and then go about reducing that stress. Depending on what’s creating this stress, you may need outside assistance in order to decrease it.

Make a mindful and dedicated pledge to yourself that you will begin eliminating that one stress in your life today. The benefits are many - I simply can’t stress that enough!
