Food Swap: Which Soda Is Healthiest?

Sometimes the craving for a sweet, bubbly drink can't be ignored. Here's the problem: Soda is loaded with sugar. Many popular sodas contain 39 grams of sugar per can – that's about 10 teaspoons! Instead of drinking this energy-crashing, belly-fat promoting soda, try one of my favorite discoveries: Zevia.

It has zero sugar because it's sweetened with stevia, an herb that originated in South America. Stevia contains no calories and will not cause blood-sugar spikes. It is much sweeter than sugar, which means you only need to use a little to get the right amount of sweetness. Research has shown that stevia may reduce hypertension and blood pressure. It can even reduce blood glucose levels in diabetic patients. So give it a try!
